SCARLETT the Dog needs a home

Scarlett is an energetic girl looking for an active, adult only home. What she lacks in manners, she makes up for in enthusiasm! She would benefit from training and socialization. While she is happy to meet most people and seems to be friendly towards other dogs, she does get spooked sometimes by people and things she is not familiar with (for example, a stranger wearing a hat). For this reason, it is essential that all members of the household, including canine ones, must come to meet her. She will need to be exposed to new situations carefully, with lots of treats and positive reinforcement, gradually teaching her that good things can happen when you meet a stranger! Scarlett is not suitable for a home with cats.
